Phase Shifter
1. Users are offered the possibility to retard an
    encoder‘s reference pulse by an adjustable number
    of pulses within one revolution.The position of the
    absolute angle can thus be set. The phase shifter
    can for example be used to align the reference angle
    for a valvetrain analysis without the user being
    forced to de- and reconnect the encoder for turning
    it. Depending on which valve there is to be
    measured, the number of retarding pulses is simply
   set on the phase shifter.
